Indic Neurophilosophy

Ancient Questions. Contemporary Brain & Mind. Indic Neurophilosophy explores the great questions of mind, self, consciousness and human freedom through a conversation between Indic thought and contemporary neuroscience.
Neurokrish Podcast
This category represents one of the most distinctive intellectual strands within Neurokrish. Its concern is not spirituality in general. Rather, an Indic philosophical idea, tradition, thinker or conception of mind provides the principal framework of enquiry. The category therefore includes explorations of Māyā, Buddhi–Chitta–Manas, Advaita and non-duality, alongside the Neurokrish journey through India’s great philosophical and spiritual teachers. The central editorial distinction is: An episode does not become Indic Neurophilosophy merely because it discusses meditation, spirituality or transcendence. Indic philosophy itself must substantially organise the enquiry. This distinction allows The Monk’s Brain and The Enlightenment Network to remain Inspired Neuropsychiatry while The Origins of Māyā and Of Advaita and Zen belong naturally here.
